Jason Droege served as interim chief executive of Scale AI from June 2025, stepping up after founder Alexandr Wang left to join Meta as part of a roughly $14bn agreement. He had joined Scale in 2024 and previously spent more than two decades in technology, including founding Uber Eats. In August 2026 Scale appointed Francis deSouza as chief executive.
