Daniela Rus

Daniela Rus is a roboticist who directs MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL), the first woman to lead it, and is a co-founder of Liquid AI, a startup spun out of her lab. Liquid AI develops "liquid neural networks", a compact architecture derived from her research; Rus is a MacArthur Fellow and a member of the National Academy of Engineering.
