David Ding is co-founder and chief executive of Udio, an AI music-generation startup launched in 2024 by a group of former Google DeepMind researchers. At DeepMind he was a senior research engineer working on diffusion and likelihood-based models for media generation, and he co-founded Udio with several colleagues from that team to build a text-to-music application.
