Daniela Amodei
Daniela Amodei is the president and a co-founder of Anthropic, the AI lab behind the Claude models, which she launched in 2021 with her brother Dario and a group of former OpenAI colleagues. She had earlier run safety and policy at OpenAI, and at Anthropic she oversees the company's operations, people and product organisation rather than its research. As the company expanded into consumer products in 2026 — including a new unit, Anthropic Labs — its product leaders reported up to her. She keeps a lower public profile than her brother, who is the company's more visible spokesman.
