Zhang Peng
Zhang Peng is a co-founder and chief executive of Zhipu AI, the Chinese large model company spun out of Tsinghua University in 2019 that develops the GLM models and rebranded internationally as Z.ai. A Tsinghua computer science graduate who worked on the AMiner research platform, he led the company through its January 2026 listing in Hong Kong.
