Yang Zhilin
Yang Zhilin (杨植麟) is a co-founder and chief executive of Moonshot AI, a Chinese frontier lab founded in 2023 that develops the Kimi family of models and assistant. He studied at Tsinghua University and earned a PhD at Carnegie Mellon, where he was co-advised by Russ Salakhutdinov and William Cohen, and worked in research roles before returning to China to start the company.
