Turing is a US company that began in 2018 as a marketplace matching remote software engineers with employers and has since repositioned around supplying frontier AI labs with coding and reasoning training data and human expertise, alongside building AI systems for large enterprises. Founded by Jonathan Siddharth and Vijay Krishnan, it raised a $111m Series E in March 2025 that it said doubled its valuation to $2.2bn. Its move into AI training data places it among a group of firms competing to supply the human-generated data used to train and evaluate frontier models.
